City/County Pre-approved Stock Building Plan Program

2024 Update: Stock plans finalists funded by County – expected availability in 2nd Quarter 2024

The City and County Planning Commissions formed a committee to review over 40 stock building plans from architects and designers. The committee recommended funding several plans so they can be reviewed for pre-approval by the respective building departments.

In December 2023, the City conducted a Visual Preference Survey to receive input on some of the top-rated plans for affordability, accessibility, and flexibility. The committee recommended plans to the County Board of County Commissioners at their final meeting on Wednesday, December 13.

The Board of County Commissioners selected the following plans for structural review. The plans are expected to be available in the 2nd quarter of 2024 for use within City and County limits:

1) Artisan Group’s Flexible 600 sf design

2) Blackberry Plan

3) Cabo Plan

4) Care POD

5) Freedom

6) Hilltop

7) Tomato

8) Urban Cottage
