Facility Rentals

The City of Port Townsend has three facilities available for rent.
Cotton Building, Pope Marine Building and Chetzemoka Park (Gazebo - the Kitchen Shelter is closed indefinitely for extensive repairs). These facilities are available for public and private use and can be reserved throughout the year on a first-come, first-served basis. Whether you are organizing a family gathering, birthday party, wedding or business function, these waterfront sites may meet your needs!

Any rentals of the Pope Marine plaza or other outside public spaces are managed through Special Events at the Police Department.

Cotton Building Front View

The Cotton Building is located on the waterfront in Port Townsend with beautiful views of the Cascades and Puget Sound. Adjacent to the building is a public park with direct access to the beach, a picnic area, and a playground, and an open courtyard that may be utilized depending on the event (certain restrictions may apply). The Cotton Building can be rented for parties, training, meetings and other various events. Alcohol is permitted if the appropriate insurance & permit/license is obtained and openly displayed at the event.

 

Pope Marine Building

The Pope Marine Building is located on the waterfront in Port Townsend with beautiful views of the Cascades and Puget Sound. Adjacent to the building is a public park with direct access to the beach, a picnic area, and a playground, and an open courtyard. The Pope Marine building can be rented for parties, training, meetings and other various events. Alcohol is permitted if the appropriate insurance & permit/license is obtained and openly displayed at the event.

 

Chetzemoka Park Gazebo

The Gazebo/Bandstand may be reserved for the hours the park is open. There are multiple tables, benches, and grills for use by the general public throughout the park. The tables and grills may be used on a first-come first-served basis. Alcohol is permitted if the appropriate insurance & permit/license is obtained and openly displayed at the event. All alcohol must be consumed within 10 feet of the shelter and the picnic tables. Individuals attending the event may visit other areas of the park providing they are not in possession of any alcohol.
