Holcomb & Wilson sewer upsizing project
Project Update: July 9, 2025
As part of the City of Port Townsend’s efforts to improve the capacity and reliability of our sewer system, geotechnical drilling will be conducted along Holcomb Street and Sims Way to support the future Holcomb & Wilson Sewer Upsizing Project.
Project Schedule
- Date & Time: Wednesday, July 16, 2025, approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Location: Roadway right-of-way near Holcomb Street and Sims Way
- Activity: Soil borings using a truck- or track-mounted drill rig and support vehicle
- Impacts: No road closures are expected. Temporary parking restrictions and minor traffic disruptions may occur.
- Restoration: Drilled pavement will be restored with material matching the existing surface (asphalt or concrete)
