Post Office Curb Extension

Post Office Curb Extension Completed Photo

The City received $250,000 from the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) for Complete Streets. This grant funds street retrofits that provide access to all users: bicyclists, pedestrians, motorists and public transportation riders.

The work includes construction of a curb extension with ADA curb ramps, sidewalks, catch basins, stormwater pipe, and preparation for rain garden installation, all located on the northwest corner of Washington Street at the Harrison Street intersection.  The work also includes sawcutting, the removal of asphalt and concrete, and asphalt patch.
