Jefferson Street Sidewalk Extension

Completed Project

The Jefferson Street sidewalk extension project began on November 13, 2018. This project included the installation of a 6 ft wide sidewalk on the south side of Jefferson Street, from Taylor to Quincy, and on the west side of Quincy from Jefferson to Washington Street, new bulbouts and curb ramps on all four corners of the Quincy and Washington Street intersection; stormwater improvements; striping; signage; and a curb and gutter along the length of the project.. As well, along this same stretch, power was undergrounded by the PUD.

The project was funded by a $395,000 grant awarded to the City from the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) Urban Sidewalk Program along with a match from City bond funds.

Seton Construction of Port Townsend was the Contractor for this project.
