Invitation to Bid

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Port Townsend, Washington, for WWTP INFLUENT PUMP STATION REHABILITATION up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., Pacific Local Time, Thursday, December 18, 2025, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Port Townsend City Hall, 250 Madison St, Suite 1, Port Townsend, Washington in the second-floor conference room.

An optional pre-bid meeting is to be held at 1:00 PM, local time, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 5300 Kuhn St. Port Townsend, WA. Interested prime contractors are encouraged to attend. At this meeting questions concerning the Contract Documents and the proposed work will be discussed.

Summary of Project 

 This Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Rehabilitation of the WWTP Influent Pump Station wet well, including surface prep and coating, replacement of pump discharge piping and controls, replacement of influent manhole, bypass pumping, electrical upgrades, odor control ducting and fan replacement, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

The Engineer’s Estimate is $1,500,000

Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will be available on-line at www.wilsonengineering.com.

The City intends to award the contract in January 2026 and issue the Notice to Proceed for all work in January 2026. In addition, bypassing of the influent pump station will ONLY be allowed between July 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026. The Contract Work shall be Substantially Complete within 177 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed with Final Completion within 200 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed.
