Adams Street Curb Ramps at Washington Street

Adams Street curb project

The City received $250,000 from the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) for Complete Streets. This grant funds street retrofits that provide access to all users: bicyclists, pedestrians, motorists and public transportation riders.

The work includes the construction of curb extensions, ADA curb ramps, sidewalks, a catch basin, stormwater pipe, and preparation for raingarden installation, all located on the south side of Washington Street at the Adams Street intersection.  The work also includes sawcutting, the removal of asphalt and concrete and asphalt patch.

This project was completed in February 2020.
