Chetzemoka Dog Park
General Location:
Located off Hudson St. at 1243 Hudson St.
General Description:
A fully fenced-in dog park with sand and bark-chipped open areas suitable to run and play for dogs.
History:
For many years, Chetzemoka dog park was one of the only places park visitors could take their dogs off leash. However, due to community efforts an additional location at Mountain View commons has been added for dog off leash access. In its early years, the Chetzemoka dog park was used by the Golden Age Club for outdoor recreation. Currently, the old Golden Age Club building is in the process of asbestos abatement and demolition. When the building is removed, the area will be added to the dog off-leash area.
