Port Townsend Arts Commission
The Arts Commission promotes and encourages public programs to further the development and public awareness of and interest in the arts, and to act in an advisory capacity to the city government in connection with the artistic and cultural development of Port Townsend.
Arts Commission Awards and Sponsored Programs
The Arts Commission meets the first Wednesday of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 PM in the 1st Floor Conference Room, City Hall, 250 Madison Street. Members: Stanley Rubin (Chair), Kris Morris, Owen Rowe, Dominica Lord-Wood, Lisa Wentworth, Abbie Greene, Dan Groussman.

The Port Townsend Arts Commission is dedicated to supporting the arts which have a recognized quality and a significant connection to the City. It is our mission as an appointed city commission to facilitate public arts programs that enhance the cultural life of its citizens.

The City of Port Townsend Art in Public Places Policy and Procedure document is to provide for the
City of Port Townsend's One Percent for Arts Program and other public art funding sources, and
accession and deaccession of gifts as pertains to placement of visual art on publicly owned property.
