Wooden Boat Foundation, will moderate a panel of local marine
trades and business owners who were “there” in the early days of the
1970s, and helped
“reel in” those early fish boats and raise our wooden boat culture to
national recognition.

the last thirty summers working on the water in Alaska in a variety
of capacities, including commercial fishing for salmon and skippering a
65-foot schooner.
Her collection of poetry, Boxing the Compass, will be the focus
of her presentation.
