Request for Proposals: The City of Port Townsend is seeking a firm or individual to assist in financial services and provide quarterly reporting on the City’s financial condition using cash basis accounting in accordance with GOFA guidelines for small communities, and provide quarterly financial reports to the City Manager and City Council. Candidates must be familiar with Springbrook software systems, BARS, general government practices and governmental accounting principles.

Request for Proposals: The City of Port Townsend is seeking a qualified firm to provide employee succession planning and executive recruitment services over the next three years. The City anticipates vacancies for several positions as key personnel become eligible for retirement over the next few years.

INVITATION TO BID - for the Port Townsend Wayfinding project Phase II
The City of Port Townsend will be accepting Bids for the fabrication and installation of approximately 31 permanent exterior signs (quantities are more or less) for the Port Townsend Wayfinding project Phase II, in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and all applicable codes until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the City of Port Townsend, 250 Madison St #2, Port Townsend, WA 98368, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS: Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will be available on-line through Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc. by going to: “www.bxwa.com”. Bidders must “Register as a Bidder”, in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to be placed on the “Bidders List”. Each Bidder is required to file with its bid a completed Bidders' Statement of Qualifications and an Affidavit of Non-Collusion. Before a contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder, the City will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low Bidder (s) to perform the size and type of work specified under this contract. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit such additional information as deemed necessary by the City to evaluate the Bidder's qualifications.

Description: In general, the UV System Procurement consists of: 1. The supply of Goods consisting of low-pressure, high-output UV systems and their associated components, and 2. The supply of Special Services consisting of assistance to the City’s Engineer in incorporating the Goods into the Water Treatment Facility design, assistance to the Contractor in installing the UV System, and assistance to the City, Engineer, and Contractor in commissioning the UV system.
