One of the three
elements of the water use efficiency rule is water use
efficiency goal setting and performance reporting.
Municipal water suppliers must set water use efficiency
goals through a public process and report annually on their
performance to customers and the Department of Health (DOH),
and also make this information available to the public.
One of the most
important steps in using water efficiently is setting goals
that can be measured. Goals provide a benchmark for
achievement and play a significant role in defining the
success of your water use efficiency (WUE) program. [WAC
